Mulu National Park, covering an area of 544 square kilometers, is the largest national park in Sarawak, Malaysia. It is also Malaysia's first UNESCO World Heritage Site, having received recognition in the year 2000. Mulu is renowned for its extensive limestone cave systems, including the world's largest natural chamber, "Sarawak Chamber," the world's largest cave passage, "Deer Cave," and Southeast Asia's longest cave, "Clearwater Cave." The park features four prominent showcase caves: Wind Cave, Clearwater Cave, Deer Cave, and Lang Cave, all accessible via wooden walkways and designated trails.
Other exciting attractions and activities within the park include witnessing the spectacle of bats leaving their caves, strolling across the world's longest rainforest canopy walkway spanning 480 meters, embarking on adventurous journeys into some of the more challenging-to-reach caves, conquering the highest peak in Mulu, exploring the stunning Pinnacles formation, and taking a historically significant trek through the rainforest landscapes known as the "Headhunters' Trail."
